This film will be shot in various natural landscapes. Timeless and rugged.
The loose premise is that Soli’s character is pulled between two realms, one realm is of struggle and strife, pain and discomfort and the other realm is of vibrance, color and overwhelming inspiration. One could interpret that she is in a battle of internal spirit. Or a tug of war of the heart.
Soli (during the verses) will be progressively beat down by the natural elements. Aimlessly and desperately attempting to navigate various landscapes from the high mountains, to deserts to rivers to forests. Unexpectedly, Soli will be thrusted/torn into the other realm on the down beat at the beginning of each chorus. There she will be met by two appsosing identities, (Sam and Abby) - (layers within herself) taunting her, circling her with characteristic dancing and expressions. After being pummeled mentally, physically and emotionally by both realms, she succumbs to the struggle and lies fetal on the forest floor. A Mustang nudges her with its nose, she awakes and they bond. The finale’ consists of Soli running full speed on the back of the mustang bareback in a vibrantly red, flowy dress, cross cut with characteristic dancing and expressions from the two dancers.
These two Aurora videos are for choreography, reference. The portions of this music video that will have dance element will be edited with a quick pace, only highlighting small portions of dance at a time, so it’s not important that complete choreography is done for the chorus’ of the song, just clusters of movements.
