We are honored to interview and film each of you for a business highlights video as a special gift for being nominated. The winner’s videos will be used to help us determine this year’s winner, and will be showcased at the annual Banquet.

Please save this link for future reference, and take a few minutes to read through this information carefully.

Here is what to expect about the production of your video.

INTERVIEWS

The foundation of the videos will be interviews with up to three key people who represent your business and it’s customers. We will ask questions that will be generated from the nominations the Chamber received. In addition, if there are any specific questions that would help tell the story of your business, we’d love to hear them. Please share with us in advance by emailing alicia@voortexproductions.com.

Please select up to three people to be interviewed, to speak about the exceptional qualities of your business.

New this year, all interviews will take place at Voortex Productions at 404 Aplets Way, Cashmere.

Filming will take place on January 16 and January 17, 2024.

Please click the link below to email Alicia ASAP to block your 90 minute slot, and then secure the people who will be involved. You can all come together and be present for each other’s interviews, or you can have people come one by one during your 90 minute slot.

B-ROLL

The second part of the video production will take place the following week, for about an hour between January 21-Jan 26. We will arrange to come by your business to film b-roll. This will be for us to capture supporting footage of those interviewed, and other relevant people, scenes, locations and things that will help bring the interviews to life. Please bring any items like old photos, mementos, or other helpful visuals you would like us to include

When we arrive at our scheduled time, we recommend you have extra people ready to be filmed who can be a part of scenes to help tell your story. For example, if customer service is an aspect of your business that is important to highlight, have characters ready to play customers on your production day.

RELEASE FORMS

Everyone we interview will be required to sign an Interview Release Form, essentially acknowledging that we are filming you. We must have this form signed before we can give you your final video.

For those who will be on camera but not interviewed, they must sign the model release form.

WHAT TO WEAR

Please avoid 

• all white

• all black

• small, tight patterns (including even the subtlest plaid pattern in a suit jacket can "buzz" on camera)

• other large noticeable logos (other than the organization logo).

Please dress appropriately for the weather.
